According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the Minnesota Timberwolves, who chose Burke at No. 9 pick in 2013 NBA draft, sends the guard in Utah.
Chad Ford of ESPN reports that Jazz will send both of their first-round selections, Nos. 14 and 21, to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Burke.
The reported trade Timberwolves give three selections in the first round, no. 14, 21 and 26. Ricky Rubio, Luke Ridnour and J.J. Barea on the roster, the Timberwolves have three point guards.
The Jazz’s starting point guards in 2012-13, Mo Williams and Randy FOYE, are set to become free agents on July 1. Williams averaged 12.9 points and 6.2 Assist per game, while FOYE averaged just 10.8 points and two Assists per contest.
Alec Burks is the only point guard guaranteed to be on the roster next season. The former No.. 12 pick in the NBA draft, played in 64 games last season, averaged 7.0 points and 1.4 Assist.
Burke PRODUCE 18.6 points and 6.7 Assist per game last season and led Michigan to the NCAA tournament final, where they lost to the Louisville Cardinals. The dynamic 20-year-old earned National Player of the Year Award as a sophomore. It was the first trip to the NCAA Michigan tournament championship game since 1993.
